Website policy and terms
Purpose and scope
Pavel Barak's website presents mortgage information, articles, calculators and ways to enquire about consulting services in Israel. Use is subject to these terms and applicable law. Browsing does not require a paid engagement. A form, conversation or calculation is not by itself an order for services or a power of attorney.
General information, not financing
Articles and calculations are educational illustrations, not personal, legal, tax or insurance advice, a binding offer or a guarantee of a mortgage. Check relevant details with the appropriate professional and the actual bank documents and contract before making decisions.
Calculator assumptions
Results depend on your inputs, assumptions and the calculation model. They are not approval in principle, a credit score or an eligibility assessment. Rates, indexation, payment schedules, fees, tax and insurance can materially change actual costs. Not every expense or exceptional event is covered. Read the limitations alongside results and do not base a decision on a single figure.
Accuracy and corrections
Markets, regulations and bank terms change. An update date does not mean every example has been verified against live data. Information may contain errors or omissions despite efforts to keep it clear. Report an error with the page link and details; content may be corrected or removed after review.
Engagement and pricing
Scope, price, payments, timing, cancellation, refunds and each party's commitments are set out in a separate proposal or agreement, subject to law. Website prices and descriptions do not replace an individual assessment. No specific saving, interest rate or bank decision is guaranteed. Mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.
Responsible use
Provide accurate information and share only data you are authorized to provide. Do not use forms for spam, impersonation, malicious files, unauthorized penetration testing or disruption of others' access or data. Do not bypass protective measures. Abusive use may be restricted in accordance with law.
Content, images and licenses
Respect applicable rights in content, design and trademarks. Use beyond applicable law or the relevant license requires permission. Cover photos were selected from sources marked CC0; some inline images use the Pexels License, with credits and license links beside them. These terms do not narrow permission granted by a third-party license. Stock images are illustrative, not necessarily clients, properties handled or endorsements by depicted people.
External services
Bank, source, WhatsApp and social-network links lead to services outside this site's control. A link does not warrant their accuracy, security or accessibility. Review their terms before sharing information. Completing a website form does not itself submit a bank application.
Availability, responsibility and changes
Maintenance, connectivity and providers can interrupt access. Continuous availability and compatibility with every device are not guaranteed; contact us by phone if a function fails. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Israeli law applies, with jurisdiction determined by law and mandatory consumer rights preserved. Future website changes do not replace the terms of an existing signed agreement.
Privacy policy
Scope and responsible contact: This website is operated for Pavel Barak to present mortgage information and consulting services. This policy describes the current website. It does not replace a separately agreed service contract or govern external websites. For privacy requests call 052-838-8022; an email address may also be used when published on the contact page.
Choice and purposes: You do not have to provide personal details to read articles or use local calculators. Contact information and mandatory fields are needed when you request a response; without them a response may not be possible. Further information is optional. Submitted information is used to handle the enquiry, arrange contact, perform a requested review, prepare a service proposal and protect the service. A form submission is not blanket marketing consent or authority to contact a bank on your behalf.
The contact form only prepares a message; its fields are not stored on the website. Opening the WhatsApp link shares the prepared text with that service immediately. Sending it to the recipient requires a further confirmation in WhatsApp and is subject to its policy.
The mortgage questionnaire is currently a preview; email submission is not enabled. Answers are not sent or saved by the website. Contact 052-838-8022 instead.
Document upload is currently unavailable. Arrange a review to receive secure-transfer instructions.
Accessibility settings are stored in your browser. Mortgage scenarios are stored in this browser only when you explicitly save them, until deletion. Do not save on shared devices. Summaries are shared only at your request, never automatically. Opening a share link transfers the summary to WhatsApp.
Calculators and browser storage: Calculations run in your browser. Scenarios are stored only when you choose to save them and can be removed from the calculator or browser settings. Accessibility preferences use pb-accessibility and are removed when you clear this site's browser data. Blocking storage does not prevent browsing, but preferences may not persist. A temporary sessionStorage flag prevents repeated display of the contact reminder in the same tab; it is not an advertising identifier. Questionnaire answers are not automatically saved as a draft.
Browser click measurement is currently disabled. If operational counters are enabled on the intake server, only received requests are counted by day and language for up to 30 days, with no request details in counters.
There are no third-party advertising tools. An IP address is necessary for communication and may appear in hosting-provider logs; intake uses it temporarily for rate limiting, not in stored counters. Phone, email and WhatsApp are also subject to their providers’ policies.
Recipients and external services: Hosting, intake and email providers may process submitted information to deliver the service, with access limited to authorized roles. WhatsApp, telephone, email and social networks have their own policies. Providers may operate outside Israel; actual processing locations and terms depend on the provider and configuration. This site does not sell information for advertising. Disclosure to authorities or other parties may occur where required by law or lawfully and proportionately necessary to protect rights.
Speech and displayed content: Read-aloud starts only at your request using the browser's speech service. Language availability, pause and resume depend on your device. The tool does not read form fields themselves, but text displayed on the page may be included. Some voices use remote services that may process text under the device or browser provider's policy. Do not assume speech is always processed locally or use it where others could overhear personal information.
Security and retention: Measures are used to reduce unauthorized access, but no system is completely secure. Retention depends on the data and submission channel. The stated 30-day period, when intake is enabled, covers its active storage only, not necessarily email, downloaded copies, hosting logs or provider backups. Their retention is not determined by the website code; ask for details before submitting information. Records may be retained where required by law or needed to address a dispute.
Access, correction and deletion: You may ask what information is held about you and request access, correction or deletion, subject to applicable law and justified limitations. Proportionate identity verification may be needed to prevent disclosure to another person. Do not send identity documents or sensitive data over an insecure channel without arranging an appropriate method. If a request cannot be fully fulfilled, the circumstances will be explained. You may withdraw a request for further contact; this does not automatically erase records that must or may lawfully be retained. Clearing browser data does not delete messages already sent to another provider.
Other people and updates: Do not submit another person's details or documents without appropriate authorization. The site addresses adult financing decisions and does not request children's information; contact us if such information was submitted by mistake. This policy may change with the service or legal requirements. The revision date is shown on this page; continued browsing alone is not a substitute for additional notice or consent where required.
Accessibility statement
Commitment and scope
The aim is to make information and services usable by people with disabilities. Israeli Standard 5568 and WCAG AA principles serve as references for improvement. This is not certification or a claim of full compliance: a comprehensive professional accessibility audit has not yet been completed. An accessibility menu alone does not make every page or workflow fully accessible.
Structure, keyboard and languages
The site includes a skip link, heading structure, visible focus and responsive navigation. Controls can be reached by keyboard. The settings menu is a modal dialog that makes the background inert while open, supports Escape and restores focus to its trigger. Main content is available in Hebrew, English and Russian with appropriate text direction; not every article is translated into all languages.
Text and display adjustments
The menu offers text size up to 200%, a readable font, bold text, line height, letter and word spacing. Display options include dark and light contrast, grayscale, color inversion and low or high saturation, plus link and heading highlighting and hiding images. Color filters affect content areas while leaving the settings menu available. Hiding images visually does not remove their alternative text from assistive technologies.
Navigation and reading aids
Options include large dark or light pointers, enhanced keyboard focus, a reading guide or mask and stopping animations. The guide and mask follow the pointer and focused controls and are mutually exclusive. The site also respects the operating system's reduced-motion preference. It does not intentionally override browser or screen-reader keyboard shortcuts.
Speech and device limitations
Read-aloud provides start, stop, pause, resume and a speed choice before starting. It depends on browser speech support and installed voices; a message appears if the language is unavailable. It is not a screen reader or a replacement for one and does not interpret charts or documents. Some voices may send text to an external provider, as described in the privacy policy.
Preferences and personal assistive tools
Preferences are saved in the browser without an account unless storage is blocked. Reset them in the menu or clear this site's browser data. You do not need the menu to use your own assistive technology. Browser zoom, system magnification and screen-reader settings remain under your control. Some combinations of adjustments can affect layout.
Testing and limitations
Automated and browser checks have been performed, but they do not replace human testing with assistive technologies. Charts, long content, setting combinations and particular browsers may have limitations. External services and third-party files are outside our control. This statement does not certify a physical meeting venue; arrange any venue-related needs in advance.
Report a barrier or request an alternative
Contact Pavel Barak at 052-838-8022, through WhatsApp or at the email address if published on this site. Include the page URL, intended action, device, browser and assistive tool where possible. You do not need to disclose a medical diagnosis. You may request a telephone explanation or another way to obtain information and make an enquiry. We will examine the difficulty and respond according to the circumstances, seeking a suitable alternative during investigation.
Privacy and accessibility enquiries
Pavel Barak
